The Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test® (FCAT) is a State of Florida test administered each year to public school students in grades 3-11.
One part of the FCAT, called FCAT SSS, measures content defined by the Sunshine State Standards.
Students in grades 3 – 10 take FCAT SSS Reading and Mathematics, students in Grades 4, 8, and 10 take FCAT SSS Writing+, and students in Grades 5, 8, and 11 take FCAT SSS Science

The purpose of this site is to provide additional information to help parents and teachers interpret FCAT scores.
Parents and teachers may use this site to convert FCAT Reading and Mathematics Developmental Scale Scores (DSS) to Achievement Level scale scores, or vice versa.
