Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test® 2.0 (FCAT 2.0)
FCAT 2.0 Test Item Specifications
The Florida Department of Education and committees of experienced Florida educators developed and approved the Specifications documents. Each Specifications document defines the content and format of the assessment and the assessment's items for item writers and reviewers, and indicates the alignment of items with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. They also serve as a source of information for educators and the general public.Beginning in 2011, the FCAT 2.0 will measure student achievement in reading (grades 3 – 10) and mathematics (grades 3 – 8). Beginning in 2012, the FCAT 2.0 will measure student achievement in science (grades 5 and 8).
