Computer-Based Testing

Overview

In 2011-12, the following assessments will be computer-based only [with paper versions for students whose individual education plans (IEPs) indicate this accommodation]:
  • Grade 6 FCAT 2.0 Reading
  • Grade 10 FCAT 2.0 Reading
  • FCAT 2.0 Reading Retake
  • FCAT Mathematics Retake
  • Algebra 1 End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment
  • Biology 1 End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment
  • Geometry End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment
  • U.S. History End-of-Course (EOC) Field Test (no paper-based accommodations)

Districts will have the option to administer the Grade 10 FCAT Reading Retake on the computer.

The Department continues to work on administration manuals and other training materials and resources for districts and schools. This page will be updated as information is available.
