Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test® 2.0 (FCAT 2.0)
The FCAT 2.0 measures student achievement of the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards in reading, mathematics, science, and writing. New Achievement Levels for FCAT 2.0 Reading and Mathematics were approved in 2011 and for FCAT 2.0 Science in 2012 through a standard-setting process.

What's on the Assessments
To learn more about the content of the FCAT 2.0, individuals may review the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and the Test Item Specifications. The Standards specify the expectations for student learning in Florida, and the Test Item Specifications describe how the test questions (or items) on the assessments will measure student achievement of these Standards.

Taking the Assessments
- Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
- Computer-Based Practice Tests (ePATs) for FCAT 2.0 Assessments: Online practice tests (ePATs) are currently available on PearsonAccess for the following FCAT 2.0 assessments:
- Grade 5 FCAT 2.0 Mathematics
- Grade 6 FCAT 2.0 Reading
- Grade 7 FCAT 2.0 Reading
- Grade 9 FCAT 2.0 Reading
- Grade 10 FCAT 2.0 Reading
- FCAT 2.0 Reading Retake
To access and run the ePATs, you must download the ePAT Launcher and the practice test content. Instructions are provided in How to Install ePATs (PDF, 64KB). Correct answers to the ePAT questions (PDF, 70KB) are available for teachers and for students.
